A PLACE FOR DESIGN
The Museum is part of the privileged context of Navigli Design District, the creative district of Milan, which is characterized by the presence of architecture, design and graphics, other museums, showrooms, galleries that make it an attractive and charming destination.
The Location, located inside the campus of NABA and Domus Academy, two prestigious institutions in the field of experimentation and contemporary design of international importance, is characterized by multi-functionality of spaces that can be places of events, business, meeting and experimentation to be used simultaneously or independently.
The architectural design by Dante O. Benini & Partners Architects, has restored the area of the former Sieroterapico Institute, with the construction of three attic cut glass “bubbles” asymmetrically following each other in the area.

EXHIBITION / EVENTS SPACE

The space is completely customizable, is fully glazed and overlooks of mirrors water.
Ideal for events such as exhibitions / conferences / catering / small events.
Capacity: 200 people seated.
COLLEZIONE PERMANENTE
1000 mq
The exhibition area is 1000 mq large and it displays the historical collection of Museo del Design 1880-1980; more than one hundreds masterpieces of international designers tell the story of last century. According to the museum staff, It is possible to reserve in exclusive the exposition area for activities that don’t compromise the set up of the collection.
